Gifts of Gemstone Jewellery with a birthstone are very popular to wear because of the desire to wear beautiful colours, as well as something which has personal significance.
The popularity of birthstones dates back to ancient times when civilizations believed that gemstones had incredible powers such as luck, health and prosperity. Today they still do. You don't need to be a gemstone or birthstone expert to find the perfect gift. Whether you're looking for a ring or a beautiful set of earings for a friend or loved one, we are here to help.

TUI POTTERY
Real New Zealand ferns hand-pressed and fired in clay.
My inspiration for my pottery comes from nature and our beautiful New Zealand forests and bush. I use our unique ferns and korus to make impressions in the clay. Each fern is used only once so no two are the same.
Absolutely unique and the perfect memento of your trip to New Zealand.
Come and see my display at the Dunedin Octagon Market.

WONDERFUL WOOLLIES
Many years ago I was invited by a friend to do some pottery.
In the corner of the room was a strange thing called a spinning wheel. I was hooked. No more pottery for me.
And now, 2 children and 40 years later, I still love spinning, weaving and knitting New Zealand's wonderful sheep wool.
From fine merino shawls to thick warm hats. There is something here for everybody.
Recently I branched out to include possum, alpaca, silk and other fibres in my work. So come and visit me at the Octagon market. (I'm the lady always attached to knitting needles with a big smile).
